SanoMed ZA PHC Inc. was founded on a simple yet powerful mission: to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare at an affordable price.
A Seed Planted
From a young age, Dr. Stefan van der Vyver was inspired by the resilience of his parents, both of whom recovered from serious illnesses. Their journey sparked his passion for medicine, leading him to pursue his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Stellenbosch University, where he graduated in December 2018.
Vast Prior Experience
Throughout his career, Dr. Van der Vyver gained invaluable experience working in private clinics in the Boland, rural communities in the Northern Cape, underprivileged areas in the Western Cape, and state clinics. He witnessed firsthand the challenges of public healthcare, where resources were scarce, and the high costs of private care, which placed quality healthcare out of reach for many.
